The International Masters in Natural Language Processing and Human Language Technology is an Erasmus Mundus Master course, organised jointly by four European universities. During the two-year programme, participants study at two or three universities of the consortium. Students are awarded a multiple Masters degree by the institutions where they study.The course begins on 1st September 2012 and finishes on 31st August 2014.
Eligibility:
Scholarship applications submitted directly to the Agency by individuals are not eligible for funding. Individuals employed by EACEA are not eligible to apply for scholarships. Applicants wishing to apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship should indicate in the application form if they are category A or B.
The application to an Erasmus Mundus scholarship Category A and Category B is done using the student Application Form to the IM in NLP & HLT before the 19th December 2011. If any student withdraw from the main list, the best students from the waiting list will be upgraded to the main list and will be notified immediately.
Category A Student
Only third-country and Western Balkans and Turkey Window applicants are eligible to apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship Category A. To qualify as a category A applicant, he/she must not have carried out his or her main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the EU Member States or the countries participating in the Consortium.
Category B Student
Only European students and students who do not belong to the Category A are eligible to apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship Category B. European students must spend their study period in at least two of the consortium partner countries. At least two of the countries visited during the Master studies must be different from the country in which the scholarship holder has obtained his/her last university degree.
Application Procedure
The deadline for submitting applications for applicants requesting a scholarship from the Consortium:
Category A: the 19th December 2011, Category B: the 19th December 2011

The application documents should be submitted electronically using “My account” in the menu. Two input forms will allow you to enter your personal information and to upload your electronic documents (.pdf format is recommended).
