Qualifications
Applicant must be a Norwalk High School senior, a member in good standing of the Kevin M. Eidt Chapter of the Norwalk High School Honor Society, and a citizen of the U.S. planning to enroll in a four-year accredited U.S. college or university in the fall of 2012. The college or university must be a public or private,
not for profit institution from which one can receive a bachelor’s degree. Applicant mut be in continued good standing in both Norwalk High School and their community. Applicant must be academically ranked in the top 10% of their class at the end of junior year. By the time of graduation applicant must have completed a minimum of six semesters at Norwalk High School.

Scholarship Award
The amount of the 2012 Scholarship will be announced early in November. Information regarding the award in prior years maybe found on the Fund’s website.
Judging Criteria
This scholarship is designed to reward a demonstrated breadth and depth of outstanding achievements across the spectrum of academics, athletics, arts and community and religious service.
Application Availability
Qualified students wishing to apply must download the preliminary application from the Fund’s website by Tuesday, October 18th. Applications are not available through other media and will not be available on the website after October 18th. The application and personal history must be submitted on the formatted word
documents available on our website.
Application Requirements and Deadline
All application information must be printed on single sided letter size paper. Do not staple any submitted documentation. Do not fold either the application or the personal history. All application materials must be placed in a sealed envelope, no smaller than 9” by 12”, with your name on it and hand delivered to Mr. Jay Hariton at Norwalk High School so that the application package is received no later than the end of the school day on Tuesday, October 25th. The application deadline will not be extended even in the event there is an unexpected school closing on October 25th.
