Eligibility
Enrollment in the 2012-2103 academic year as a full-time student in one of the following universities:
- California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo
- Colorado School of Mines
- Georgia Institute of Technology
- University of California, Santa Barbara
- Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University
- Accounting and/or Finance or Economics
- Business or Marketing
- Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering
- Chemistry or Materials Science
- Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering
- Geology or Mine Engineering
Overall GPA of 3.0 or better and GPA of 3.5 or better in declared major
Application Procedure
An application packet must include all of the following in order to be deemed complete and considered for a scholarship award: Completed Application, Signed Terms & Conditions, Essay (typed), Resume, Official Transcripts – Printed copies from the internet will not be accepted, One Academic Letter of Reference, One Personal Letter of Reference (by a non-relative), One (1) Professional Letter of Reference (optional but strongly recommended)
