Description
The scholarships shall be awarded each year by the University of Waikato Scholarships Committee, on the recommendation of the Selection Panel. The selection panel will consist of a representative of the Brian Perry Charitable Trust, a representative of the University of Waikato Scholarships Committee, the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in Science and Engineering, and the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies in Science and Engineering, or their nominees. In any year, no scholarships may be awarded if there are insufficient applications of appropriate merit.
Eligibility
The Brian Perry Charitable Trust Graduate Scholarships are open to applicants who intend to enrol fulltime at the University of Waikato in the first year of a master’s degree in the Faculty of Science and Engineering in the year of tenure.
Application Procedure
All students wishing to be considered for the Brian Perry Charitable Trust Graduate Scholarship in Science & Engineering must apply on the official application form and submit this by 31 March in the year of tenure. Applicants must also submit a brief CV which addresses the criteria listed in point 3 above and two referee’s reports (one academic and one personal).
