Albert and Patricia Beltrami Scholarship/Internship Programn USA

Description
This scholarship is intended to facilitate an Internship Program for Mendocino College students who wish to pursue a career in local government. Participating students will intern in local city or county government, enroll in Mendocino College Cooperative Work Experience Education for college credit, and be eligible for a scholarship of up to $1,000 per year.

Eligibility
  1. Mendocino County resident
  2. 3.0 grade point average
  3. Successful completion of POL 80, 200 or 204 (Student Participation in College Governance, American Government and Politics or California Government and Politics)
  4. Intent to major in business, political science or related field
  5. Intent to pursue a career in local government
  6. Enroll in POL 197 for a minimum of 2 units, maximum of 8

Application Procedure

Interested students must provide a cover letter describing government career goals, resume including college major and county of residence, and a completed “Political Science Internship Screening Form.”
