The Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) - Students Bangladesh only

The Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) Program in Bangladesh has been started since 2001. Up to now, a total of 183 fellows have been sent to Japan under the program and another 15 fellows will be sent in August 2011. JDS Program is now inviting potential applicants who understand its aims and are interested in 2 year master degree program at Japanese accepting universities for the academic year 2012-2013.The program will be instructed in English. The number of dispatches is 15 per year.

Eligibility

- Nationality: Bangladesh Nationals;
- Age: Below Forty (40) as of April 1, 2012 (Born on/after April 2, 1972);
- Academic Background: Completed sixteen (16) years of school education with at least Bachelor’s degree. At least two (2) First Divisions or equivalent with no Third Division;
- Work Experience: [ for BCS Cadre Officials ] 1) Public Administration, Economics, Environmental Policy and International Relations: To be a confirmed member of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Cadre for at least two (2) years of work experience as full-time employee in Government Service; [ for Bangladesh Bank Class-1 Officers ] 2) Economics and Environmental Policy: To be a Bangladesh Bank Class-1 Officers for at least two (2) years of work experience as full-time employee in Bangladesh Bank;
