Lissie Rathbone Scholarships at University of Canterbury, New Zealand

Description
The Lissie Rathbone Scholarships were established in 1925 by the trustees of the late Lissie Rathbone, who bequeathed one half of her residuary Estate for such charitable, educational or religious objects as the trustees should select.

Eligibility

  • Each scholarship shall be awarded upon examination for excellence in NCEA level 3 or 4 or equivalent university entrance qualifications, for English and History.
  • International Students may apply unless the regulations specifically restrict the scholarship to NZ citizen or permanent resident.

Application Procedure
  • The application form and regulations can be downloaded from within the scholarship description; otherwise, there will be contact details for obtaining an application form.
  • Check carefully that you are eligible to apply, including that your intended degree qualifies.
  • International Students may apply unless the regulations specifically restrict the scholarship to NZ citizen or permanent resident.
  • Commence university/country entry and admission procedures and arrange any academic or language tests required.
  • Ensure that all the information requested is provided by the closing date. You may need to supply a birth certificate, school results, financial information and/or references.
