The Victor H. Loewenstein Scholarship at Edinburgh University, UK

Description
The Victor H. Loewenstein Scholarship is awarded to a student from outside the UK so as to enhance the international nature of the programme. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the benefits to the student. Each scholarship will be worth £5,000.

Eligibility
The scholarship is open to applicants who are citizens and residents of any country except the United Kingdom and who are applying for admission onto the Full-time MBA or MBA in International Business in September 2012.

Although applications for the scholarship should be made before 31 May 2012, the scholarship will only be awarded to an applicant who has firmly accepted their offer through payment of the deposit. Applicants who hold full sponsorships are not eligible for the scholarship.

If an applicant is successful in being awarded the scholarship, but subsequently declines their offer of admission on the MBA programme, the award of the scholarship will be withdrawn and awarded to another applicant.

Appliation Procedure
Applicants should submit a 1,000 word essay, explaining why they feel they should be awarded a scholarship, and how the scholarship will benefit them. This essay should accompany their application for the MBA programme.

The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the benefits to the student. The decision will be made by a committee consisting of Directors and key staff from Admissions.

If you have already sent your application, you are welcome to apply separately. Please enclose your full name and contact details as stated in your programme application. Separate scholarship applications without these details will not be considered.'

The Calum Miller International Scholarship at Edinburgh University, UK

Edinburgh University announced One scholarship of £10,000 is awarded to a student from any country for full time MBA program

Eligibility
  • The scholarships are open to applicants who have an excellent academic record and who are applying for admission onto the Full-time MBA or MBA in International Business in September 2012. An award may be withdrawn if a student fails to meet the academic standards set by the University.
  • The scholarships will only be awarded to applicants who have firmly accepted their offer through payment of the deposit.

International Scholarship For Graduate Stuent at Hawai’i Pacific University, USA

Description
Hawai’i Pacific University awards a limited number of graduate scholarships each fall and spring semesters to new graduate students. These scholarships are available for 2 years, as long as the student is in good standing and maintains a 3.0 GPA. There are three different scholarships available:
Trustee’s Scholarship: $6,000/year; $3,000/semester
Dean’s Scholarship: $4,000/year; $2,000/semester
Graduate Kokua Scholarship: $2,000/year; $1,000/semester
The amount of the award will be determined by the Scholarship Committee.

Eligibility
  1. Applicants must apply for either the Fall or Spring semesters;
  2. Applicants must apply and be admitted to a Master’s program (applicants applying to the 12 Month MBA, Executive MBA,
  3. Organizational Change Online or Business Administration Online programs, or the Business Administration Military FlexTrack program are not eligible to apply);
  4. Applicants must plan to enroll as a full-time student (minimum 9 credit hours per Fall and Spring semesters).
Criteria:
Applications will be reviewed based on:
  1. Applicant’s financial need;
  2. Previous academic record;
  3. Professional work experience and achievements;
  4. Community involvement and services.

Application Procedure
  • Complete and submit a Graduate Application for Admission with all supporting documents;
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and list Hawai’i Pacific University (domestic applicants only);
  • Complete and submit the Scholarship Application form, along with the essay;
  • Submit a Resume/CV (optional).
