Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowship at Indiana University Blocomington, USA

Description
The amount of each Fellowship will cover the cost of tuition and a stipend to be allocated towards room, board, living expenses and income taxes. The Trustee has set the stipend at $18,000 for this year.  The procedures governing the granting of the awards are detailed on the enclosed application.

Eligibility
  • Fellowships are available to students who are currently enrolled in and pursuing a graduate degree at a designated institution of higher learning located in the United States of America.   Undergraduate students are no longer qualified candidates.
  • The program of study being pursued by the candidate may include any recognized field of study in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences (including law, medicine, engineering, architecture or other formal professional training).   The selection committee has a strong preference for supporting scholarly endeavors.
  • The candidate must have received a baccalaureate degree at the time the fellowship would commence and have an outstanding undergraduate record.
  • The candidate must demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
  • The candidate must be a citizen of the United States of America.
  • The candidate may be of any national descent or background.

Application Procedure

Fellowships are awarded annually.  Each Fellow MUST APPLY FOR A RENEWAL of his or her fellowship by March 30 of the following year in accordance with the terms in effect at the time the fellowship is awarded.  Fellowships will be limited to a maximum of three years.

Landscape Form Design For Peopla Scholarship, USA

Description
Landscape Forms, founded on the commitment to good design and concern for the wellbeing of people, has created a scholarship to honor excellence in design for people -- addressing how people use spaces and the ways in which the design of spaces and amenities can enhance and enrich the experience of those who use them.

The Landscape Forms Scholarship is open to landscape architecture students who will be starting their final year of full-time undergraduate study in an LAAB-accredited program in 2011 and who demonstrate passion, commitment, and competence in creating great spaces for people.

Applicants must show a proven contribution to the design of public spaces that integrates landscape design and the use of amenities to promote social interaction. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic accomplishment and creative ability.

Eligibility

In addition to the General Submission Guidelines this scholarship requires the following:
  1. A 300-word maximum essay describing the qualities essential to the creation of great and successful public spaces
  2. Three 8 ½ x11 academic or internship work samples in either jpg or PDF format
  3. Two letters of recommendation from current professors and/or internship employers

HUGH AND WIN WALKER SCHOLARSHIP AT UNIVERSITY OF CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

Description
The university of Cape Town invite South African Student to apply the Hugh and Win Walker schoarship in the field of Architecture.

Eligibility
  1. Bursaries are available to 2nd year (& beyond) undergraduate students studying towards a degree in Architecture;
  2. show academic merit;
  3. be financially needy;
  4. be a South African citizen.
