LIVFund Scholarship in Latin America

Description
LIVFund is excited to offer its scholarship in 21 countries including Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela. The scholarship competition is open to anyone who meets the eligibility conditions and needs help covering program or living abroad expenses.

Eligibility
  1. The scholarship competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 interested in learning, interning or volunteering abroad in Latin America.
  2. Candidates coming to Latin America with an organized program, designing their own program or still waiting to be accepted to an abroad program are all eligible to apply. Students, interns and volunteers who are already abroad are also eligible to receive funding.
  3. The scholarship competition is open to anyone who meets the  eligibility conditions and needs help covering program or living abroad expenses.

GAPAN Griffith University Aviation Management Scholarship at Griffith University - Australia

The objective of this scholarship is to continuously improve management expertise within the Australian aviation industry. Griffith Aviation in the School of Biomolecular and Physical Sciences will cover the tuition fees of one student to undertake either the Bachelor of Aviation Management, the Graduate Certificate in Aviation Management or the Master of Aviation Management program.

Eligibility
- Applicant’s personal statement
– this should include why the applicant has applied for the scholarship, the selected program of aviation management study in the School of Biomolecular and Physical Sciences and how they would benefit from the funding.
- Must be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Australian residency.
- Must be enrolled in or eligible to enrol in either of the following programs:
* Bachelor of Aviation Management
* Graduate Certificate in Aviation Management
* Master of Aviation Management
- Grade Point Average (GPA) – copy of academic transcripts to be provided for students who are applying for academic entry. (Not applicable for applicants for professional entry).
- Short listed applicants may be required to attend an interview with a selection panel conducted jointly by the sponsor and Griffith University.

Asia Leaders Programme (Dual Campus Master of Arts in Peace Building)

The Asia Leaders Programme, a Dual Campus Master of Arts Programme, is a shared initiative of The Nippon Foundation, the UN Mandated University for Peace (UPEACE), and Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU). The objective of the programme is to train young Asian professionals to become peace building practitioners, ready to take up leading positions in their organizations.
The programme offers additional language training for candidates with intermediate English proficiency and includes an MA programme in an area related to peace building (11 specializations available!), specially designed Asia focus courses and a 4-month internship.

Description of the Programme
This 17 to 20 month (depending on English proficiency) intensive academic programme begins in March 2012 and is accomplished in four terms:
  1. Language training at AdMU in the Philippines (6 months for candidates with intermediate English, 3 months for candidates with advanced English);
  2. MA coursework at the UPEACE Campus in Costa Rica (11 specializations available);
  3. Asia Focus courses at the AdMU Campus in the Philippines;
  4. A four-month internship in Asia.
